What do you get when you mix a man wearing a garbage bag, a questionable government policy, and a side stitching musical number? The Coaly Moleys! Even though these guys look like the Wiggles on crack, they have a serious message to deliver. The message: “It’s Your Call On Coal Australia”.

Greenpeace launched Your Call On Coal through the Popul8 Campaign Manager, using every colour of the crayon rainbow. Within a week, the site had acheived 100% of it’s objective.

As of May 2008, the Tasmanian Devil is listed as endangered. That’s pretty serious. Because the last time I checked it goes abundant, threatened, endangered, then extinct. We don’t want the little devils to disappear like the unfortunate Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger).

Fortunately, the good people of the Tassie Devil Appeal spearheading the conservation of our infamous species. With the use of the Popul8 Campaign Manager, they are heading towards their goal of raising $250,000 for the cause. Users can create, breed and feed their Devils in this fun viral campaign.
